About Me

I have been with Cold Lake High School since 2009.  I completed my Science degree at the University of Saskatchewan, and then worked at the Alberta Research Council for 5 years.  After this, I returned to school and completed my Education degree at the University of Alberta.

I teach a variety of Science and Math classes that I thoroughly enjoy.  In my classroom there can be hatching fish eggs, or exciting math projects happening at any time.

In May of 2016 I completed my Masters in Educational Technology through the University of British Columbia.  Through this program I learned many new ways to implement technology into my classroom to improve student learning.

In the 2016/17 school year, I started as the Academic and Career Counsellor at CLHS.  I help with registering students, and ensuring they are registered for the courses that are required for each students post-secondary goals.  I also organize the work experience and RAP placements for students.

I also volunteer with Cold Lake Fire-Rescue in the north end of the city.  I have been a volunteer firefighter for several years, and enjoy being involved in our local community.
