  • CLHS Year End Music Concert Date Set

    As many know, the CLHS Band has had an excellent year, learning more challenging music and performing wonderfully.  Things wrap up at CLHS on June 7th at 7:00 PM, where nothing short of a fantastic auditory experience awaits.  If you wish to hear some classic Queen performed, want to see a combined Choral Music 10 and CLHS Band in tune, and hear the special guest 4 Wing Band perform -- save this night!  This promises to be the greatest show in town on the 7th.  Doors open at 6:30 and all 205 seats await your company!

  • Drayton Valley Rugby - A Tough Go!

    This past weekend, the Cold Lake Rugby squads hit the highway, with Mr. Stasuik at the wheel, heading for Drayton Valley.  Both the senior boys and girls teams played 3 matches.  The senior boys felt the sting of 3 consecutive losses.  The girls fared better, going 1-2.  Their third match was close, where Coach Nichol, felt the team played some of their best rugby for the tournament but fell short of on the scoreboard.  Injuries were minor for the most part with hands stepped on, strained knees and a generous helping of bruises. All in all, an exciting adventure for the rugby teams!

2012-2013 Registration Information

As the school year comes to a close, staff and administration are busy looking forward to the 2012-2013 school year.  Planning is underway.  Presentations are being made to students regarding course selections.  Students are reviewing option choices for their next grade.  Parent and student orientation meetings are being planned.  Feel free to use the links below to begin providing you with some information for the 2012-2013 school year.  In addition, be sure to check out the "My Child's Learning" link which provides you an excellent resource about all educational matters from the province. Cold Lake High School is a new facility that opened in August, 2009.  The high school will house up to 700 students from grades 9 to 12.  The facility includes a fully equipped Industrial Education Lab, Home Economics and Fashion area, a Life Skills Classroom, a three-stage gymnasium, a 205 seat theatre as well as a fitness room and a cafeteria with a commercially equipped kitchen.  The cafeteria will seat over 300 students.
