Cold Lake High School provides an exciting opportunity for students to engage in learning while being a part of a greater school community. CLHS has over 500 students in grades 10-12, and offers a wide range of academic, K&E, and CTS programming. The facility opened in 2009, but the Royals legacy of a combined public high school started in 1972. Beyond high school courses, Cold Lake High School runs competitive athletics programs as well as clubs such as Community Helpers, GSA, Enviro-Royals, Student Council, and Best Buddies. We believe that, given a safe and caring environment, all students can and will learn. It is the duty of staff and students to help create and maintain that environment. Each teacher is responsible for providing the best learning atmosphere possible and each student is expected to access their educational opportunity to its fullest. Parents are an integral part of the learning process and as such must assume a major role in the overall education of their children.
